As some of you know, June 6 is a special day. Well yeah….it is the day that the Allies landed on Omaha beach, but in 2010, June 6th was the day I opened Drake Custom Bass officially. The week before I had cashed out of the contract security business and dove head long into bass guitar building. June 6th was the day I filed my DBA. So this year to celebrate, Rosie and I decided to do some fishing on my Dad’s boat on Lake Superior and caught us a mess of lake trout. We had a blast but are now back in the shop, coated in wood dust, and building your dream basses and guitars.
Going forward, we will be adding more online content including YouTube videos, Instagram photos and blog posts to better show our custom guitar building work. Please stay tuned for future announcements.
